San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard left Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat with a right quad contusion and was ruled out for the rest of the contest.
Leonard exited in the fourth quarter, appearing to limp slightly while leaving the floor. The Spurs also had a substantial lead at the time, with Leonard scoring 32 points in 24 minutes.
The reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year missed three games in February due to tightness in his left calf. Leonard ranks second in the NBA in 3-point percentage and first in defensive win shares.
