Bogut won't play as Warriors host Blazers

The Golden State Warriors will be without center Andrew Bogut on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers as they attempt to win their 69th game of the season. The big man is dealing with sore ribs, the result of an injury suffered in Friday's home loss to the Boston Celtics.

Bogut left that game in the second half and did not return. X-rays were negative, and the Australian veteran has dealt with rib injuries in the past - notably in 2014, when he missed the postseason due to a rib fracture.

The good news for the Warriors is that backup center Festus Ezeli will return to action, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears. Ezeli hasn't played since Jan. 25 with a knee injury. And while it is unlikely he will play, swingman Andre Iguodala has been upgraded to doubtful. Iguodala has missed the last 12 games with an ankle injury.

Bogut is hitting career lows in scoring (5.3 points per game) and rebounding (6.9) this season, but also in minutes (20.5). That said, the 31-year-old 7-footer is shooting 61.7 percent from the floor.
