Green's end-of-game tackle on Beasley ruled a flagrant

Draymond Green is developing a habit for delivering end-of-game bodyslams, and the league is trying to make sure the buck stops here.

Early in April, Green dropped Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart with a vicious tackle in the dying seconds before Steph Curry launched a potential game-tying three. In Thursday's Game 3 against the Houston Rockets, he suplexed Michael Beasley on the final possession as the Rockets tried to inbound.

Neither play immediately resulted in a foul, but the NBA retroactively ruled the latter a flagrant-1 on Friday.

That won't mean much, outside of perhaps a small fine, but it's proof the league has taken note of Green's excessive late-game physicality, and it may put referees on notice going forward.
